MDOT Commercial featuring 5th Child Voiceover Wins Ad Awards!

A few months ago 5th Child contributed a voiceover for a commercial for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. The ad has been running on television and at the beginning of YouTube videos since its creation. Well, now the description "award-winning" can be added to the commercial's current accolades. The MDOT "Get Your Game On" commercial spot has won a total of three 2014 Davey Awards for outstanding advertisement. 5th Child Provides Music for Compelling Documentary "The Frontlines of Hope"

The Mississippi Center for Justice recently produced a short documentary highlighting their work of keeping young men of color off the streets and in school in the Mississippi Delta. The short-film score includes 2 instrumental tracks produced by 5th Child. Watch and enjoy!

#ThrowBackMonday 5th Child in the Studio w/ G-Eazy & KLVN at Loyola University (2008)

5th Child graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2008 with a degree in Public Relations/Music Business. During this time he was blessed to meet other talented musicians that would go on to be globally successful recording artists. DJ KLVN (then known as 3rd-Shift the Cincinnati Monster) approached 5th to do a song about the murder of Sean Bell by NYPD officers. While KLVN had equipment to make the beat, they reached out to fellow student and producer/emcee G-Eazy to record and mix the track in his dorm-room studio. Jaxx City recently released the official music video for the Ulogy & 7evenThirty assisted track "Laughter" from the album No Good Nick. The 5th Child produced track is one of several songs that 5th laced for Jaxx City's Elegant Trainwreck/Homework Town debut. The album is available at Offbeat Art located at 151 Wesley Ave in Jackson, MS.

5th Child's "Hometown" Featured on Commercial for MS Greek Weekend 2014

For the last six years, members of Greek-letter organizations and those just looking for a good time, choose to make a road-trip to Mississippi's capital city for a weekend of philanthropy, parties with a purpose, and people! The seventh annual Mississippi Greek Weekend will be held September 19-21, 2014 in Jackson, Mississippi. #MSGW14 continues to fund and friend raise for Light The Night Walk and Cure Sickle Cell Foundation.
