5th Child's "Run" Featured On Award-winning Documentary

5th Child's lead single "Run" from the album 5th Child was part of the soundtrack for the short film "Growing Our Own" by Phillip Scarbrough and Tom Beck about the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation. The documentary has already won awards at the Oxford Film Festival and will soon be playing in the Madrid Film Festival in Spain. Because this film was aired previously on PBS it may possibly be accepted into the Emmy-awards ceremony!  Watch, share, and enjoy! (The song starts around the 18:42 mark).

What I'm On Now: Toro y Moi's Anything In Return

Although I primarily make hip hop music, I find inspiration in all types of music. Lately, this has been the only thing I care to listen to. Apparently it's called "chillwave" but either way it's jamming. I first heard of Toro y Moi when I Shazam'd a song I heard in some department store or something. Then my homie DJ Young Venom had the vinyl copy of the album Anything in Return at his studio and after hearing a few more tracks I was completely sold. This album has been in HEAVY rotation everywhere I go. I've been playing it for everyone I know and they all dig it. You probably will too... Check it out... Toro y Moi- Anything in Return
